The client is one of the world’s leading professional services firms, delivering audit, tax, consulting, and advisory services across industries. With a globally distributed workforce and a substantial presence in India and its US-India delivery organization, the firm invests heavily in strengthening the skills required to serve clients in an increasingly complex business environment.

From Intermediary Support to Direct Client Advisory
Within the tax practice, many consultants had strong technical expertise but relied heavily on intermediaries for client engagement. The client identified a need to build the confidence, communication skills, and advisory mindset required for professionals to engage clients more directly and create greater value in conversations.
The organization needed a scalable, engaging capability-building intervention that could:
Build confidence in direct client communication across global teams.
Help consultants shift from a task- or compliance-oriented mindset to an advisory mindset.
Strengthen client-centric behaviors, including listening, questioning, value articulation, and stakeholder management.
Provide a practical, consistent learning experience across the US, UK, EMEA, and India.
Scale efficiently while retaining relevance for different cohorts and business contexts.

A Global Client-Centricity Learning Journey
We at KNOLSKAPE designed a client-centricity and advisory capability program that combined immersive practice with structured learning and reflection. The solution focused on helping consultants move beyond technical expertise alone and build the confidence to lead meaningful, value-oriented client conversations.
The program was delivered through a multi-cohort global rollout and included:
Experiential learning journeys focused on client-centric communication and advisory effectiveness.
Realistic client scenarios that enabled participants to practice direct engagement in a safe environment.
Simulated conversations and decision-making moments designed around common client-facing challenges.
Learning interventions focused on advisory mindset, confidence building, stakeholder communication, and value articulation.
Feedback and reflection opportunities to help participants identify strengths and development priorities.
Virtual and scalable delivery formats that supported consistent learning across the US, UK, EMEA, and India.

The program was delivered to more than tax consultants across global regions, including the US, UK, EMEA, and India.
Pilot success led to the program being expanded into four additional verticals, with the capability journey scaling to more than learners.
The initiative supported:
Increased confidence in direct client interactions.
A stronger shift toward client-centric, advisory-led engagement.
Greater readiness among consultants to communicate value beyond technical or transactional delivery.
A repeatable and scalable model for building client-facing capability across practices and geographies.
More consistent development of advisory behaviors through structured practice, feedback, and reinforcement.

Leading Solution Design Through Pilot and Scale
As ACP Content Products, I led the end-to-end design and development of the client-centricity and advisory capability program, translating the client’s strategic goal into a practical, scalable learning journey.
My contribution included:
Partnering with the client’s L&D and tax-business stakeholders to understand the existing client-engagement model, capability gaps, target audience, and desired shift toward more direct advisory interactions.
Conducting need analysis to identify the behavioral and communication skills that distinguished effective client advisors, including discovery questioning, active listening, structuring client conversations, confidence, and value-focused communication.
Converting these insights into a structured learning architecture, including program objectives, learner journeys, scenario themes, practice opportunities, assessment criteria, and reinforcement mechanisms.
Co-designing realistic client-facing scenarios that allowed consultants to practice advisory conversations in a low-risk environment before applying the skills in live engagements.
Working with the technology team to configure the simulation experience, validate scenario logic, and ensure that feedback and AI-supported analysis accurately reflected the targeted client-centric and advisory behaviors.
Partnering with the design team to develop learner-facing assets, simulation interfaces, facilitation materials, and client review prototypes that aligned with the firm’s brand and learning standards.
Collaborating with customer success and delivery teams to plan global cohort launches, coordinate facilitator and participant readiness, manage stakeholder communication, and ensure a smooth experience across regions.
Running pilots with client stakeholders, gathering learner feedback and performance insights, and refining the solution before expanding it to additional cohorts and verticals.
