125,000+A leading global professional services firm, headquartered in New York and employing over 125000 people, wanted to evolve how its workforce was perceived by clients. The organization sought to move employees from a service-provider mindset toward a more consultative, value-creation approach—particularly as AI began reshaping client expectations and ways of working.
The initiative focused on emerging and current consultants across global teams and aligned with the organization’s internal Emerging Consultants Competency Framework.
-
The client needed a scalable way for consultants to practise the behaviors that distinguish trusted advisors: understanding client needs, articulating value, responding effectively under pressure, and using AI responsibly to strengthen problem-solving.
Traditional training could explain these skills, but it could not consistently provide realistic practice, immediate feedback, or comparable data across geographically distributed cohorts.
-
At my previous organization, we designed and delivered an AI-powered, scenario-based simulation that recreated realistic consulting moments in a safe practice environment. Through conversational AI, learners engaged in both written and spoken interactions and received contextual feedback on the quality, relevance, clarity, and effectiveness of their responses.
Core capabilities included:
Realistic consulting scenarios involving emails, client conversations, meetings, and rapid-response moments.
Branching pathways that reflected the consequences of learner decisions.
Text analysis to evaluate relevance, structure, accuracy, and value articulation.
Voice analysis to assess delivery factors such as clarity, tone, and content.
Real-time feedback at key moments, alongside detailed individual skill reports.
Group-level analytics to help L&D teams identify patterns, capability gaps, and development priorities.
A globally scalable experience designed to provide consistent learning quality across regions.
-
The solution was first piloted with over consultants across multiple regions. Its success led to a planned rollout for more than consultants globally.
The program helped establish a scalable, AI-enabled capability-building model that supported:
Greater confidence in handling consulting-style client interactions.
Faster, more structured responses to client needs and business problems.
Stronger value articulation and a more consultative mindset.
Consistent behavioral benchmarking against the organization’s competency framework.
More targeted development conversations through individual and cohort-level performance insights.

As AVP Content Products I led the end-to-end solution design and delivery process, acting as the bridge between the client’s capability agenda and KNOLSKAPE’s product, design, technology, and customer-success teams.
My role included:
Partnering with the client’s L&D and business stakeholders to understand the desired shift in consultant behavior, identify learner needs, and translate the Emerging Consultants Competency Framework into observable, assessable simulation behaviors.
Co-designing the learning journey, simulation structure, decision points, scenarios, and assessment criteria so that the experience reflected the pressures and ambiguity of real consulting work.
Shaping an immersive “day in the life” narrative that enabled learners to navigate client emails, calls, meetings, and time-sensitive business decisions.
Working closely with the technology team to define the conversational-AI experience, including text- and voice-based interactions, branching logic, response-analysis expectations, and the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated feedback.
Collaborating with the design team on the interface, visual assets, scenario environments, and client-facing prototypes, incorporating stakeholder feedback to ensure brand alignment and a credible user experience.
Coordinating with the customer success team to prepare the implementation journey, participant communication, pilot operations, feedback collection, reporting, and post-launch support.
Leading client reviews and pilot iterations, using learner and stakeholder feedback to refine the scenarios, feedback language, difficulty level, and overall product experience before broader deployment.
Ensuring the solution incorporated privacy-conscious design, including safeguards to detect and prevent the use of personally identifiable or sensitive information in learner responses.
